Inclusion Isle Of Wight
We are pleased to announce that after a rapid period of mobilisation the island’s drug and alcohol service IRIS transferred to Inclusion on the 1st December 2018. We have been working on the island for many years providing drug and alcohol services with HMP Isle of Wight.
Over the coming months Inclusion will be working with colleagues within the staff team to continue to build a safe, effective and resilient service and will update communications in due course to partners as we continue our transition. We are excited and determined to provide the best service we can for the residents of the Isle of Wight. As would always be the case an alcohol related medical emergency would require referral directly to A&E by the patient and their GP or ambulance service. From the 1st December Inclusion are able to accept normal, non-emergency referrals for alcohol.
In the early stages of the new service a key principle for us to maintain continuity of care and stability. Any changes that are enacted will be communicated clearly to staff, service users and partners.
If you would like to make a referral or have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact the service.
