Inclusion have provided the high-quality psychosocial substance misuse service in HMP Isle of Wight since 2005 and started providing the clinical and prescribing service for substance misuse in 2012.
Inclusion has many years experience of delivering services within prison environments and has listened to and responded to feedback with the design of the service model within HMP Isle of Wight which is a safe and high performing prisons substance misuse service.
We have worked to bring together elements of delivery to enhance the service user experience and increase effectiveness of supporting them to move forward.
We ensure that our service users are given the right levels of interventions to meet their needs, with an understanding that one size does not fit all. Our teams consist of skilled and experienced prison psychosocial professionals, team manager and administrators.
Each of the prisons we work in has different populations and requirements, we are responsive to the needs of the population and the host prison requirements working closely with governors, prison staff and partner agencies within the prison including Practice Plus Group (PPG) as the wider healthcare provider.
HMP Isle of Wight is a category B male prison set across 2 sites (formerly HMP Parkhurst and HMP Albany).
