Our Drug and Alcohol Recovery Teams (DART) provide specialist criminal justice substance misuse workers based within prison establishments working in partnership with prison service staff.
We have experience of working across all prison types and are the largest NHS provider of prison based drug and alcohol services in England.
We provide services that include initial screening, comprehensive assessment and recovery/release planning building upon the strengths of those we work with. We provide pharmacological interventions, psychosocial interventions, holisitic therapies, referral to BBV screening and support, structured treatment for offenders underpinned by a vibrant scheme that supports the use of peer mentors in prisons.
