STARS (Structured Treatment and recovery Service) is a drug and alcohol treatment service for adults in Buckinghamshire, Inclusion provide this service working in Partnership, Buckinghamshire with The Oasis Partnership, a charity that celebrated it’s 30th anniversary in 2014.
STARS is a drug and alcohol treatment service that focuses on giving the right support to the right person all “under one roof”.
Medical treatment is just part of the journey – and this is provided in conjunction with a range of other interventions to promote and achieve sustained recovery.
- Medical assessment
- Health MOTs and vaccinations
- Community detox
- Therapeutic interventions, key working
- Recovery planning and coaching
- Group work opportunities
Treatment options are not compulsory – but with trained and experienced recovery workers we promote and encourage positive choices that help the individuals who use our services to build upon their current potential so they leave our service established in their recovery journey with a greater hope of success for their futures.
It’s never easy to work your way through a drug and alcohol recovery without support, so we’ll make sure you’re not on your own.
STARS has a developed recovery network – a range of useful groups and sessions led by experienced staff or other recovering drug and alcohol users. Our supportive teams offer different ways to help service users with various aspects of their life. Not all of them are related to drugs or alcohol, but focus on areas like building confidence and finding employment.
- Group work and peer support
- Employment and training support
- Women’s support services
- Arts and crafts workshops
- Volunteer projects
- Recovery cafe
There is also a STARS Recovery Café which is open every Friday from 11am to 4pm at Oasis House and Unity House.
